Dr. Andreas K. Gruber has served as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB) in Berlin since March 2023. He holds a doctorate in political science and worked as a management consultant for several years before joining DKB in 2016. As Head of Public Affairs, he established the bank’s strategic public affairs function. Following an intensive focus on sustainable finance, he took over DKB’s sustainability management in 2018. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), represents DKB in the Sustainable Finance Cluster, and serves as Deputy Chair of the Sustainable Finance Commission of the Association of German Public Banks (VÖB).
