Jan Brecht ist seit 2015 Chief Information Officer (CIO) von Daimler und Mercedes-Benz. In dieser Funktion verantwortet er die globale IT für alle Geschäftsbereiche, Marken und Märkte. Unter seiner Leitung wurde 2016 die IT-Initiative „#TwiceAsFast“ auf den Weg gebracht.Von 2009 bis 2015 war er bei der adidas Gruppe, zuletzt als CIO & Head of Global Supply Chain zuständig für IT und Logistik. Zuvor war er seit 1997 bereits bei Daimler tätig. Jan Brecht hat ein Diplom in Elektro-/Nachrichtentechnik der Universität Karlsruhe sowie den internationalen Abschluss „Tripartite“ der Universitäten Southampton und ESIEE Paris.

Alexander Buresch CIO – BWM Group Mehr Informationen

Alexander Erich Buresch (born 1967) holds a German Master in Business Administration and Economics, with a major degree in Business Information Systems, Controlling and Foreign Trade.

He joined BMW Bank GmbH in 1998 as head of Customer Interaction Systems. Between 2001 and 2004, Mr. Buresch had the role as General Manager Projects and Consultancy Region Europe at BMW Financial Services before he became Vice President Finance IT for the BMW Group worldwide. From September 2008 to September 2011 he headed the Strategy and Planning Department of BMW global IT, including the CIO role for the Region China.

He was then responsible for the BMW Group China strategy and business development, JV BMW Brilliance Automotive (BBA) – coordination of BMW Group central functions, China digitization program and the set-up of the JV Spotlight (BMW/ Great Wall Motors). In November 2019, he was appointed Senior Vice President BMW Group IT.

Frank Fischer ist der Leiter Informationssicherheit und CISO der Deutschen Bahn AG. In dieser Funktion führt er darüber hinaus das Cyber Sicherheitsprogramm des Bahnkonzerns seit Oktober 2018. Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei der DB AG war er von 2014-2018 CISO der Deutschen Börse AG und von 2010-2014 Managing Director der deutschsprachigen Accenture Security Beratung. Vor dieser Zeit besaß er verschiedene internationale Leitungsfunktionen im Security Umfeld. Frank Fischer hat mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung in den Bereichen der Informationssicherheit, Cyber Security und IT Transformation.

Hanna Hennig, Chief Information Officer at Siemens AG since January 2020, enables the digitalization of the global technology powerhouse. Hanna is a passionate technologist and has gathered more than 25 years of experience in IT. She supported and guided various companies in their business and digital transformations, among them Osram, Telefonica O2, E.ON, Robert Bosch and Cap Gemini. She studied economics and Japanese studies at the University of Hannover.

Dr. Markus Richter Staatssekretär und Bundes-CIO – Bundesministerium des Innern Mehr Informationen

Dr. Markus Richter wurde 1976 in Münster/Westfalen geboren. Er hat zwei Kinder.

Nach einem Studium der Rechtswissenschaften an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster folgt 2003 die Promotion zum Dr. jur. sowie das Rechtsreferendariat beim Oberlandesgericht Hamm mit dem 2. juristischen Staatsexamen ein Jahr später.

Ab 2005 hat Dr. Markus Richter mehrere Positionen im Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge inne. Dort beschäftigt er sich unter anderem im Personalwesen, in der Organisation, im Büro des Präsidenten sowie in den Grundsatzfragen der Integration und Migration. In 2014 übernimmt er die Gruppenleitung im Bereich IT im Bundesverwaltungsamt. Ab 2015 wirkt er wieder im Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge als Abteilungsleiter für Infrastruktur und IT und wird ab 2018 Vizepräsident der Behörde.

Seit 1. Mai 2020 ist Dr. Markus Richter Staatssekretär im Bundesministerium des Innern und für Heimat und Beauftragter der Bundesregierung für Informationstechnik.

Thomas Rückert CIO & Senior Vice President Information Management – Lufthansa Group Mehr Informationen

Thomas Rückert hat am 1. Januar 2021 die Position des Chief Information Officers der Lufthansa Group übernommen. Thomas Rückert ist 1995 als Trainee bei Lufthansa Technik eingestiegen.

Der 50-jährige Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur (TU Darmstadt) hat in den vergangenen 25 Jahren diverse Positionen bei Lufthansa Technik in Deutschland, Irland und auf den Philippinen bekleidet. Zuletzt hat er als Vice President Maintenance Services gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Managern das weltweite Überholungsnetzwerk von Lufthansa Technik geleitet und direkt an den Vorstand des Unternehmens berichtet. Als Sprecher der Product Division war er unter anderem für alle Shared Services, die Produktentwicklung und die Digitalisierung zuständig.

Dr. Ralf Schneider Senior Fellow Cybersecurity and Next-Generation IT – Allianz Mehr Informationen

Dr. Ralf Schneider Allianz Group CIO Ralf Schneider is Allianz Group CIO since October 2010. From 2010 until 2016, he also held the position as Board Member for IT of Allianz Technology SE. Before that, he had been CIO of Allianz Germany (Allianz Deutschland AG) for five years. In his 27 years with Allianz (since 1995), Schneider has had several executive positions in the IT area, e.g. department head of “Allianz Sales Information Systems” or division head of “E-Business and Project Controlling Germany”. Besides his career at Allianz, Ralf Schneider holds senior mandates in several Cyber Security related organizations like “Cyber Security Sharing & Analytics (CSSA) e.V.”, the “Deutsche Cyber Sicherheitsorganisation” (DCSO) as well as the Digital Society Institute (DSI) of the ESMT in Berlin. He is also engaged as Vice Chairman in the German Federal Association of IT Users (VOICE e.V.), as a senator of the National Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech) and as an advisor of the German National research Center of applied Cybersecurity Athene. Ralf Schneider graduated in mathematics and holds a doctor’s degree in computer science.

Sandeep Sen Global CIO – Linde plc Mehr Informationen

Sandeep Sen is CIO of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company with around 62,000 employees in more than 100 countries worldwide. Sandeep is a qualified accountant with more than 20 years of experience, initially in finance and then in IT. He started his career in finance in ITC, one of the largest private sector companies in India before moving to Linde India (formerly BOC India) in 1993. After various finance roles in India and the UK, he moved into the IT function in 1998 with Linde India. Since then, he has held IT positions in India and the Asia Pacific region, including strategic responsibility for Linde’s captive shared service center in India. Sandeep was appointed to his current role in December 2011.

Audrey Tang Digital Minister – Taiwan Mehr Informationen

Audrey Tang is Taiwan’s digital minister in charge of Social Innovation.

Audrey is known for revitalizing the computer languages Perl and Haskell, as well as building the online spreadsheet system EtherCalc in collaboration with Dan Bricklin.
In the public sector, Audrey served on Taiwan national development council’s open data committee and the 12-year basic education curriculum committee; and led the country’s first e-Rulemaking project.

In the private sector, Audrey worked as a consultant with Apple on computational linguistics, with Oxford University Press on crowd lexicography, and with Socialtext on social interaction design. In the social sector, Audrey actively contributes to g0v („gov zero“), a vibrant community focusing on creating tools for the civil society, with the call to „fork the government.“
