Press

Our offer to the press
We offer journalists and editors a platform to enter into dialog with experts from business, politics and science. We are happy to arrange interviews on site.

Accreditation guidelines

As a conference organizer, we want to make it easier for journalists to access information about our events and our company with the help of accreditation. Accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of journalistic reporting.

Press accreditation can be obtained by

Persons from Germany or abroad who wish to pursue their journalistic activities (provided that there is a reference to the respective event topic) as follows:

a. by submitting name articles that are not older than six months at the time of the event,

b. by submitting an imprint in which they are named as editors, permanent editorial staff or authors and which is not older than three months at the time of the event,

c. by submitting a written order from a full editorial office in the original with reference to the current event,

d. by means of a web link to an online publication that is established in the respective industry community and has an appropriate reach. In these cases, prior accreditation is required due to the increased examination effort. Such online media must have existed for at least three months, have regular entries and the last text relating to the conference topic must not be more than three months old. (In individual cases, there may be separate, more detailed accreditation rules for bloggers and a separate status for bloggers).

e. Holders of a valid press card from a domestic or foreign journalists' association

Please note that the presentation of a press card is generally not the sole basis for accreditation. The organizer reserves the right to request further evidence to verify the journalistic activity in accordance with points a - e.

The identification documents should be presented in German or English. In individual cases, the organizer reserves the right to additionally request the presentation of a valid identity document with a photograph. There is no right to accreditation. If necessary, the organizer will make use of its domiciliary rights.

The following groups of persons are not accredited:

  • Persons without journalistic credentials, such as account managers, sales managers, advertising managers or webmasters, PR consultants, photo-only editors
  • Germans resident in Germany who present a foreign press card
  • Persons who submit a written assignment from a freelance journalist
  • People who are only privately active on social networks
Press accreditation cannot be obtained by:

Please note that access to the event is only permitted in accordance with the Lists of states within the meaning of Section 13 Paragraph 1 No. 17 of the Security Clearance Act (SÜG) Participation is subject to approval by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI). If your nationality matches one of the listed nationalities, participation is unfortunately not possible. We ask for your understanding. An exception applies to representatives of Ukraine, as it is a democratically legitimate partner state and candidate for EU membership.

Accreditation

Up to one week before the event, you can register below with the access code P1201228PA accreditation. For short-term accreditations and inquiries please per E-Mail send. We require the above-mentioned documents.

Technical prerequisites and system requirements

The online annual conference takes place live and interactively on the internet (using Zoom software; browser-based participation is also possible). A stable internet connection is required. The following browsers are examples of compatible browsers on Windows: Internet Explorer version 8.0 and later, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. As a participant, you will join from various locations using your own device, which must have a camera and microphone. You will see presentation materials and hear our speaker's presentation via internet telephony (VoIP) or a traditional telephone connection.

Zoom supports all common PC microphones and speakers, as well as dial-in via telephone. However, using a PC headset is significantly more comfortable for training sessions. Before the online annual conference, you will receive an invitation with an access link and meeting ID, as well as the opportunity for a technical check. For participation via mobile devices, we recommend the Zoom app.
