Gareth Farr is Head of Data Science and AI at HypoVereinsbank – UniCredit Bank GmbH as part of the Chief Digital and Operations Division. His area of responsibility includes driving the bank’s AI strategy to create value through Data Science and AI to enhance both customer and employee experience. He is passionate about the role of Data and AI in the future of financial services. Before joining HypoVereinsbank he worked for the Absa Group in South Africa where he held a number of roles across, Product, Operations and Data as well as Barclays, where he was part of Finance. He holds a degree in Political Science, one in Finance and Masters in Security Studies.
